In Indian thought, the body’s energy centers are called Chakras, which in Hindi means “wheels of spinning energy.” The seven chakras run along the spinal cord from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, giving the body alignment. Life force, or Prana, moves in and out of these areas. It is important that the chakras remain open and clear so we can live happy, balanced lives. Ancient Indian sages prescribed wearing chakra jewelry in close contact with the skin to balance the body’s energy centers. Our artisans hand draw each chakra symbol using a natural ink made from Balinese dark wood. Choose one or all seven. Namaste.
